Socrate .
I like the whole series. My picks are the Downey and Nutmeg, and last but not least, the Bluejay closeup. I sent Chan E-mail to tell him of my two trips to Butterfly World.

These are stunning! I went back through them three times to try and pick thinking to myself, there this is the best, but it changed each time! So to cut to the chase, I can't pick They are all my favorite.

Super series that makes the 7D look like the most expensive camera in the world. You prove it's about the technique and not the equipment. Not that the 7D is substandard by any means, but these are the highest quality images I've seen from one so far. Just like a fine wine, each of these should be sipped slowly and savored so that their full elegance can be appreciated. Can't pick a fav here - Wonderful work Socrate.
Thanks for the nice words, Mark. You're very kind. Hey, I like your idea of fine wine

I didn't know you had a 7D. I have one heading this way - should arrive in a couple of days.
Are you liking yours? Looks like you're doing very well with it.
Fantastic poses and details on these. I've still never seen a Nutmeg Mannikin. What a gorgeous bird!
Hi Cris. Thanks for the comments and glad you like these. I've had the 7D for a month or so, but I haven't really used it much. I like the focusing system and all the neat features it carries.
