Lovely shot. I was out in the garden recently and watched as this small bee flew to the fresher rose leaves, cut rounded sections from them in about two seconds and was gone. No shots.

Excellent image Phil -love the angle and the light
Looks like a mason bee with that tuft of hair between its eyes.
