Well it seems that all of the buildings are leaning inward, my taste there is alittle bit to much sky. I'm curious to settings I found out using tungsten setting helps alot during night shots

Not sure why the data does not exist , I checked off the box . I used the 24-70mm L series Lens . That would explain the inward buildings . I dont normally like to use the tungsten settings . But it seems its very rare for Manhattan to have a Clear Sky . The sky usually comes out red due to pollution , Unless i use a wide angle at a specific time . I have shot from this location at the Brooklyn Promenade dozens of times , This particular time I was trying out a new lens and camera body .

if I was to have centered the image , i would have picked up a bunch of construction work and debris from underneath me and noise pollution from street lights . Which would make it less desirable.

heres a few more

I didnt think its anything great but many like that saturated look so I posted here to see what reactions I would get .

Hi Jimmy,

First I have seen of your pics.

I liked them all. First one is my favorite. Beautiful!

I also like the amount of sky (nice deep blue and good gradient to lighter blue).

Very pretty image.

thanks for posting them.

You just need to point the lens horizontally level and your buildings will be straight

Best

Beautiful. I like how the sky fades from blue to black.

#1 I quite like - nice deep blue sky. I also like #3 and #4.

Love the smooth water and the greenish tint in #3 esp.

Interesting point on putting the camera on tungsten WB, wish I'd tried that when I was doing some night shots of Melbourne last week.
