It seems the Fall here is same as every other year - boring and uninteresting in general, this year with ugly weather as well. It's really challenging to capture something interesting these days, so I thought I'd do some "detailscapes" containing some fall colors. I hope you'll enjoy some of them. Any C&C are greatly appreciated, thanks
Adrian, John, Morris, Binh and Barry - thanks for your comments, glad you found your favorites in this mini series. Binh - I'd love it to be a red maple, but there aren't any of those around here, so some yellow stuff will have to do
You sure made an interesting series here. #1 is my favorite. I really like how the color stands out there. #3 is also pretty cool, I like how you composed that. In #2, for some reason those 2 upside down green leaves kind of bug me. So maybe a crop below those would be cool.

Jim and David - thanks for commenting, I appreciate it. Jim - now that you mentioned those two leaves... they bug me as well . I'll consider cropping them out, although that particular shot most probably won't go into circulation (exhibitions and stuff) - just wanted to share the shooting/weather misery. Looking at #1 though - that will definitely end up as a print - the more I look at it the more I like it.
Javier - don't worry about it . I like polite, honest answers and your was polite and honest. These kinds of shots are very hard to capture and there's a greater chance somebody won't like them.
Milan, I like all of them including the second. The yellow leaves "circling" around the small group of brown leaves reminds me of a bouquet. Hard to explain, but I like it. The first is very beautiful and I think a hard scene to pull together.
Sharon - thanks for your comment, glad you liked them. I agree about the first, a tough shot to pull together. I must say live view helped a lot here - seeing the entire "scene" on a larger screen made the difference and was the key for me to even try and capture it.
