I was happy to see this theme come up as I was in Las Vegas - no lack of color there! I had a nice week walking around purposely avoiding all the usual photo-traps, looking for unusual angles and perspectives.
This shot was taken from in front of the Bellagio hotel between water fountain shows (ok, I took the usual shots of the show...) and I happened to see the reflection of three completely different background elements converged on the water and knew I had my shot!
This was my first real camera-enabled trip there so I had to take some well-considered shots of some of the usual suspects. But I'll have you know I was the only one in front of the Bellagio with a tripod AND a cable-release and doing pre-show test-exposures! <geek>
But my wife and I did walk around looking for and taking some unique shots where we could find them.
