Here are some left overs from recent outings. Some shot in high ISO due to bad weather. Thanks for looking and any comments. Taken w/ 300/4 AFS and TC1.7X

Nice shots of some mini-birds. My fav is the Meadowlark in #8. Love those colors.

7 is too

Congrats on the Butter Butt first. Chubbet is looking might good. The small birds can be difficult but you captured these ones beautifully.

Dan I won`t pick a favorite because i think they are all excellent shots. I will say however that I find the attached Exif data adds to the interest significantly. Thanks for sharing these. Take care. Bob

Thanks Tim. Most of these were shot under preety bad weather. I wasn't sure if I should have posted them at all in the first place. I appreciate the nice comments.

Man you are doing a great job with a 300 and TC for these shots Dan! A beautiful set and so well presented

Interesting that the exif data shows 500mm and not 510mm. Great work too in some of them at such high ISO!

Very nice set of images Dan. I am most impressed with the high ISO results you got with these. The files look very clean...and that 3200 ISO BP shot is killing me. For a D300 user, seeing files like yours with the D300s, at those ISO settings...well your not doing my wallet any favors! TFS...
