This horse was talking to me, but I wasn't sure what he was saying- "Get me some more oats." Or "Get that camera outta my face!" Or "Did you hear the one about the filly from Philly?" Or....?

Good thing horses aren't predators. I agree with Eric. Perhaps not creepy, but definitely worth caution. They ARE big and strong and, although they are also wonderful animals, I've heard their brains are the size of walnuts. This friendly chap was just having a laugh at my expense, however.

Racehorses are habituated to people being around, so this guy was just goofing. His handler probably could have interpreted the horse-laff, but I couldn't. I was just waiting for the right moment to go "click."
