ShirleyP Offline Upload & Sell: On p.1 #1 · Youth wrestling - 2nd try w/ flash After the comments from my first post, I went back and tried again using some fill flash. I had to set the flash to 1/64th otherwise it was too bright. The last one in the series was shot without flash for comparison. hleidich Offline Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #3 · Youth wrestling - 2nd try w/ flash I don't remember exact settings but I would lower the ISO (~640-800) and up the flash power a little...this will brighten colors better more like #1 & #2...the other are too dark with shadows on their faces...the flash should get rid of this. Fish On Offline Upload & Sell: On p.1 #4 · Youth wrestling - 2nd try w/ flash Shirley, Not too bad for a 2nd try. You seem to have a yellow cast on these shots though. I would suggest lowering the ISO to around 400 - 640 depending on the lighting that you have available. Set the flash to ETTL and AWB, manual mode and ss @ 250, fstop at 3.5 or 4.0. I use a 70-200/2.8. Here is a sample of what I have shot with these settings. These were in a high school gym Try those settings and see what you get otherwise shoot the way that you have been shooting. Nov 13, 2009 at 11:18 PM

I think the first couple of shots had a higher power on the flash and I had to recover it in ACR. But I can see how the suggestions given could produce better results. I will give it a try.
