I took on the home meet this past weekend with a D3 and some 2.8 glass. The lighting was typical, forcing me to push the D3 to 6400 ISO. Low lighting is bad enough but the mixed lighting created an even greater challenge.
Nice shots overall. You're a little hot on some, but overall exposure and color looks good. Nice shots on vault, but I might have opted for a different angle due to the BG.
Job well done in such a difficult lighting environment. I think you could have dial up the ISO a notch to ISO8000 on the D3 to give you more shutter speed to minimize the motion blurs.
This gym, like most in the area, is a bat cave. It's always a challenge to stop the action without too much interference from noise. I may bump the ISO at the next meet. I don't mind the blur too much as long as a key element is sharp. The color casts bother me more than anything.
