p.1 #1 · I need cybersync help

cross posted with the wedding forum where I hand out:

I need to know which buttons should be pushed in, and which not on the AB's. Right now, with the receiver attached (with the telephone cord thing), I get a red light by the work "dump" on the back of the strobe, instead of the friendly green light I usually get when I use my strobes. I've only used them with one attached to the camera by a cord, and the others on slave.

Also, I can't figure out which way the CST is pointing toward the frequencies, and the little book doesn't show. So I am not sure if both pieces are set on the same frequency.

When I push the test on the receiver I get a spark from the strobe, and the light flashes on both pieces.

But every time I try to shoot a picture, with the CST on the hot shoe and the receiver on the strobe I get --nada!

You can't connect CSR+ or CSRB+ using the telephone jack unless you have Cyber Commander . . . it tells the CSR+ what power you want. Connect via the 1/8" sync cord and jack. The frequency dial on the CST has a little notch to tell you which frequency.
