Anyone ever tried a Profoto AcuteB head with one of the Elinchrom silver/translucent deflectors?
Am contemplating shifting to an AcuteB 600R kit from Elinchrom and sometimes like the ability to use my softboxes with the silver deflector and no diffuser. I am assuming since both Eli and Profoto heads have central app. 7mm umbrella mounts it would be possible...
...the umbrella mounting hole is blocked and not accessible. You may be able to drill a hole through the speedring or remove the metal plate cover to access the mounting hole but I haven't tried it.
