That's the way we play football here in Southern California! Actually he got straight armed by the runner and his helmet got torn off, but the guy is just tenacious and didn't stop playing. He actually flips the guy over his leg. It was pretty awsome! The flip pictures didn't have much to show or I would have posted one of them instead.
I had over 110 looks and no one said anything about that shot. I guess it's a tough crowd. Thanks for noticing!
Looking better Chris, Are you keeping the light setup the same as last year for Basketball? My daughter has been out of soccer play this club season due to injury, but will be ready for HS come Dec. Be nice to have LSHS do better than last year, but I'm not betting on it.
Yeah my lighting set up is easy to set up and break down, so it will be the same. I wanted to try to add a 3rd and possibly 4th light at half court to shoot opposite court, but that might just add to much time. I know we're only talking maybe 15 minutes, but when shooting for a newspaper and having a deadline, 15 minutes is huge.
Does your daughter play anything besides soccer? I love shooting high school soccer. The level of play is so much higher these days. Because of other work commitments, I don't usually shoot stuff right after school lets out, but this year may be different because of furloghs and cut backs. We'll see.
LSHS has had a tough time in football. They're 2 wins this year both required an onside kick. Pretty exciting stuff!
