Great caption for # 1, thats exactly what it suggests to me

I like the more defined flowers on the upper left pointing into the storm centre in the lower right.
# 2 is a flower of a different kind with a very nice pose and an intriguing expression. If we had more flowers like this one we would have less blechy comments I think

Beautiful colors in both shots.
