I don't know what kind of flower this is. It looks and smells like an orange blossom but they don't bear any fruit.
For the time being I'm calling it Katalin's flower because we planted the tree in honor of the birth of our middle daughter - Katalin - who was seen here in a recent B & W photo of her displaying her braids. I hope you like it.
Thanks for the kind comment, Ray! I'm glad you like it. I have three flowering pear trees out in front of our house so I know their flowers. They won't bloom until January. No, these may be some sort of citrus equivalent to a flowering pear in that they blossom but don't produce any fruit.
All the best,
Endre

It could be a type of flowering pear. Whatever it is, you've captured it beautifully.
Light, shadow, and texture so elegantly crafted! A truly marvellous way to begin my day. I'm pleased to see thet you are back at work on your project, Endre. I would begrudgingly grant that you deserve a break occasionally, even if it does deny me a morning's beginning pleasure. This is one worth the wait.
Thank you, Cal, my friend! As always, I'm delighted that you like it and that you take so much time and care in commenting. Eventually, though, I will have my 100 flowers and I will stop. What will you do then? I guess it will be back to Schubert.
Warm regards,
Endre

Apparently you live in the southern hemisphere with trees blooming in January?
Sorry for not signing my name. I should do so, at least until folks get to know me.
It's good to know your name, John! No, I live in Southern California - Los Angeles, to be exact. Flowers bloom all year round here.
All the best,
Endre
