I like that presentation. A brightly exposed face against an even brighter background makes her stand out well.
I bet the focus was fun with that veil in the way! Also, the lack of shadows (or only slightly noticed) of the veil on the face from the flash is a good thing.
She looks rather sophisticated, not like the other Goth girls I've seen on this forum. Good job.

There's multiple types of goth (especially considering that "goth" is a rather amorphous term with no set definition). There's the industrial rock type goths that are into the tattoos, piercings, colored, hair, black makeup, etc. There's the goth fashions that are characterized by formal Victorian styled clothing in black. There's the Betty Page revival style of goth women. There's the black leather clad goth look (similar to that in the Matrix). The styles are all over the place, to be honest.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. There are many forms of Goth. This is part of a series , which covers all styles. If you care to cross to the dark side the BW forum you can see my other pictures unfold in a series from Goth One
OK, it's confession time: I think long necks are sexy. kakomu, curb your tongue!
However, @kakoomu, thanks for the goth lesson. I did not know about the range of "gothness," and that actually helps me in conversations with my 16-year-old daughter... I could handle Victorian Goth, but I think I'd need to draw the line at Industrial, Holes-in-the-skin Goth...
Alan: nice capture and convesion, as has been mentioned. She's quite striking. I also looked at your goth series, and I've concluded this: If you remove the strong 80s Punk and 90s Grunge and 00s repulsive SlipKnot influence, Goth can actually be a very attractive style. So I guess it's Betty Page or the Victorian Era for me...
