Looking for a new laptop...
PC user, not wanting to switch to MAC at this time.
Will be using CS4 & LR 3 (as soon as available).
Would like to stay under $1000.00

I have been looking for one as well and have narrowed it down to the Gateway FX 7815u as it is a gaming computer with a nice 17" Screen and has the ability to run 2 HD's in RAID, also the 4gig of dedicated RAM is nice as well. You can find it from Best Buy or around a couple of other sites depending on where you live. Here in California, BB has it for $1.049.00 which is not terrible for a nice laptop.
