That first picture is splendid. It is is beautiful in its geometry and in the exquisitely tender color. The focal length brings the viewer into intimacy with the scene. The light is lovely, but I would be curious to see the tone curve keyed down the very slightest, slightest amount as the foreground area comes down and away from the light above at the horizon.

Very good on all three. Like Jim, I too would be tempted to work on the moon - that would have been a cool thing too.
First one should be printed large
I should just take some random full frame moon shots with detail and then insert them into these scenes later so I don't have to worry about it when I'm out there
Wonderful job on these. #1 is my favourite. I don't think a little cold (and a long drive ) is too high a price to pay for shots like this. I am glad you paid it.

Thanks Rob, I agree, it's definitely worth the price. I usually make several of these weekday excursions to Rainier before work a year, sometimes they work out, sometimes they don't, but I always enjoy myself up there.
Thanks for the comments and feedback. Chinook Pass is now closed for the season, this was the last good sunrise of the year at that spot - I'm now really glad I went up there!
