I put this in the computer section but since I know that many of you use LR for their workflow I thought I would tap into these great minds as well. Here is the problem. When I am exporting on LR 2 I clearly have the resolution set to 240 ppi. However, when I look at the photo info is says it is 72 dpi...? I can not figure out why. How do I fix this or am I reading something wrong?
Check the Resize to Fit and change the Width and Height to bigger than your image and check the box Don't Enlarge and it should export it at the same size at 240 DPI
I tried that, and the same thing. Here is the weird thing. I fooled around and just did the "export to burn CD" and everything set the same and it came out properly....hmmmmmm
OK, I got it...I guess I forgot to include the fact that I am using the Morgify program. I didn't think that would matter but one of the options that I had set was to "strip all metadata" I unchecked that box and wallla the dpi appeared as 240. Weirrrrrrd. Thanks for everyone who thought about it though.
