It seems that the leaves don't stick out on the rocks on the river, probably get blown off from there just as quickly from the trees. So in the first two, the leaves are "planted"

Granite & Maple - Something about the colors, textures of the granite & leaves appealed to me.

Number 3 is my favorite of the group. Nice shots... I've been trying to capture something similar to this but I haven't been satisfied with anything I've shot yet.
