The Egyptian village women gathered daily at a quiet eddy of the Nile River to gossip and wash dishes. Looks a lot more productive than putting the dishes into a dishwasher and sitting alone watching soaps. But that's just my opinion .
Not safe to assume the men are watching the Thanksgiving Day football game?
This is a really fun picture. Look and listen closely to it. If you try, you can hear them now. Remember the Hee-Haw song?
"We're not one's to go 'round spreading rumors.
Really we're just not the gossiping kind.
No you'll never hear one of us repeating gossip.
So you better make sure and listen close the first time!"
Thanks Scott, Alan and T-bone.
Tim, I'm not so sure it's a good idea to let it be known that you were a song-memorizing fan of Hee-Haw. The culture and good-taste police are already worried enough about you because you sometimes disrobe in front of police stations and bus passengers just because you're proud of your tighty-whiteys.
