p.1 #1 · Impressions of Fall

I am not sure if these images belong to here, but I don't know where else to post these. Any way, if moderater believes they need to be moved, please feel free to do so.

C&C are welcome. Thanks for looking.

#1 is my favorite, your technique enhances the depth of the scene!

Of course they belong here. Great captures.

Was the effect from the camera or in post processing?

Thanks, Binh Ly and Henry W.

Single capture and some basic PP in LR, so in camera effects.

There sure seems to be a trend with this type of comps. I think the first works, partly 'cause of the straight lines created by the slender trees.. With the others, I don't know, maybe for me, they need to be more abstract, with less identifiable details. I need to try this!
Thanks for sharing these Linden..

These are landscapes so of course this is the right forum.

I like camera movement shots.
#4 works especially well for me, because the movement gives the effect of fog in the background between the trees.

Nice work!

I would also go along with #1. Definitely like the effect.
I also like #3.
Doing these takes more than just moving the camera, the vision thing.
I thing you have something here as they both add to the depth of the image

Thanks all.

Zeph, I hear you. For me, I was trying to get an impressionistic (am I creating a new word here?) painting effect. I have plenty images with no detail and definitely more abstract. But here for 1, 2 and 4 I intended to show some details. I was just experimenting.

TripleYYY, yes it's fun to try this. It can potentially transform a mundane place into a beautiful one.

Dan, with digital, it has made such attempts much easier. The keeper rate is low as you probably already know.

I was messing around with this technique over weekend. I didn't have the lovely color you got though. I think it works best in your first image wit all of the vertical elements. Well Done. #3 is nice too.
