dasrocket Offline Upload & Sell: On p.1 #1 · apples to oranges... Came across this photo of a film EOS 10S today, and thought I'd put it up along with a 7D for your viewing pleasure. It make me giggle to see how much more interface we now require to do the same thing we did 20 years ago. The 10s was an interesting camera - with the bar code reader, the large AF-assist beam thingy nestled near the grip, the completely "recessed" dial with associate lock in the middle. It sorta hit a "sweet spot" in that is was a bit robust, had advanced features, but wasn't so "pro" as to be expensive or heavy. It was on it's way out, when I started working for a large nationwide camera retailer whom I will not mention...but I still sold a few of 'em. The A2/A2E and Elan, however...ate all the 10s sales that "coulda been". Looking at the eyecup, I think it's interchangeable with the EOS-1/1n? Nov 05, 2009 at 04:45 AM
