I haven't been able to shoot even SG lately . These look very good, Tim. The IF shots look well in focus and with very nice wing detail with the first one being my favorite.
Socrate
Wow Tim, some great shots here. The color and "pop" on the first three is excellent. I guess you can even make a gull look good with a skillful presentation.

Nice industrial shot Tim #1 looks great, nice catchlight and nice pose. #2 is a great shot with the wing flare and the sweet light that fills them.......I like this shot buddy!
Karl
Hey Karl,
Industrial shot indeed That mill is an eye soar but I guess if you work there it is beautiful. It always seems so out of place to me.
Thanks for the good birdie words, I appreciate the thought out comments. I had fun shooting them, the 400 / tc combo works real well.

Nice eye contact in all of these Tim. Like your environmental one too and good to see a pic of your shooting locality!
You got some fast ss in this low light. How are you finding the Mk3 in this respect compared to the 40 and 50Ds you had?
The exif data is a bit weird though on the ss for the last two gull ones! You would need a calculator to work those out
Martin
Hey Martin!
The exif data coming that displays on the page is not easy to understand. If you have an exif viewer for what ever browser you are using and right click- view exif the numbers are closer to normal.
The mk3 is in another league compared to the 40 or 50d. There is no comparison and I say this after my 50 just came back from Canon with the focused tuned to way better than off the shelf levels.
When did you switched to Nikon? ur shutterspeeds look like Danno's 536871/1073741824 sec good luck figuring that out!
It seems like you're using the 400 + tc combo for this shots! I gotta say I wasn't expecting suxh a nice IQ! #1 is awesome...#2 is sick! what a pose on that one

That is very kind of you to say Mark, I appreciate the words and thank you sincerely.
These are really pretty shots Tim... I love #1, beautiful light, great wing position and comp... very well done.
#3 floater is really cool too.
Very nice work buddy.
The Oystercatchers are back! Oh I want to see some images of these Tim.
