p.1 #1 · Which lens for college football

I have sideline access for 1AA college football. I'm currently shooting with a 1d mark IIn and a 70 - 200 f4 L. I'd like more reach so my question is: Should I go 300 f4 L or 100 - 400 L?

All games are during the early afternoon so speed is not a big issue.

out of the 2 i'd get the 300, focus is alot faster.
