Both are nice Tim, but the second is spectacular! What a cool contrast between the 99% green rain forest and the 1% yellow/red autumn leaves. Great shot!
Pretty cool, though a bit tooooooooo HDRish for me... But still pretty nice looking. I like the amount of water movement you got in both of those, that looks pretty neat. Now as to your downsizing to 800px instead of 900px... you are supposed to be downsizing to 800px... not 900px anyway...
Very cool really like the lush greens you have captured here along with the nice flow of water. Really digging #2 and the zig zag of the water and that fall color really adds nicely to an already easy to the eyes image, great work here Tim
Nice shots Tim. I don't recall I got any of that creek you show in the first image.
Do I detect a hint of CEP Tonal Contrast in the processing here? Seems a little heavy as an effect in the trees of the first image. Try dropping back less less than half of the default values for all of the light ranges for a less noticeable effect and a saturation value of no more than 7%.
thanks for the comments everyone. I looked back at my larger images, and the downsampled ones, it seemed the images got a bit darker and 'crunchier" in the conversion. Not that I'm not often guilty of such things Ok, a softer presentation and further consultation with Don on the identification of said watercourses. Mea culpa. Alan, thanks for the values.
Beautiful Tim! The second image really sparkles! The first image is Howe Creek, which doesn't really matter - all I care about is that it is a beautiful piece of work.
Yes the rivers & streams are looking much better this Fall. I like #2 with the contrast, and my eyes naturally follow the creek to the top. A nice composition.
