We might have been able to bounce a flash in to the reflector.... in these shots... 100% natural light... nothing to help them out. Good point! Someone mentioned the bags under the eyes. This didn't jump out at me, either. But...my kids all have allergies and they have bags most of the time. Sometimes we "fix" them in photos, other times we leave them because, well, it's who they are and what they look like. Just my .02! Nov 03, 2009 at 02:35 PM

My partner Kristy pointed out the older daughter had dark circles under her eyes we could remove... I didn't and she is going to beat me with a stick. ROFL When we photograph adults...I try to clean everything up as much as possible... for the kids...I didn't smooth the skin or really do much to the shot. A little healing here and there with the skin if there was a scratch or rough patch. I see the point about the eyes... I might go back and slighty adjust the shots. As you mentioned... this is what they look like... well... except for the teeth... I did boost them in the end. Okay...enough babble... Thanks again for the comments. Gald you enjoyed the images. You either had a reflective bright surface below the kids or very dark surface above them absorbing the light. Nice pics though, 135L makes backdrops unnecessary. Nov 05, 2009 at 11:54 AM
