p.1 #1 · Fixing 24mm TS-E MkI Distortion

Two things recently occurred that lead to this post:

1) I just finished an 8-week sabbatical, during which I took 1000's more pictures than I do in any other 2-month period

2) I'm not expert, but I largely have an idea what to expect now when using the 24mm, and can mostly get it to do my bidding.

So, taking a more critical eye to the shots I've taken with the 24 recently, I started seeing things I didn't at first.

I am wondering if people are aware of any resources for improving the post processing of these types of wayward shots. I've had a hell of a time with the standard distortion correction approaches on these , and any tips/resources would be much appreciated.

I realize this is a little bit of a rambling post, but hopefully it makes sense to people experiencing the same issues. I'll supplement with some example shots later tonight. Thanks!

Based on the shift amount and direction, add white space to the image by increasing the canvas size in the opposite direction, then make corrections for distortion, CA, etc. as usual.

Thanks EB-1. I'll keep at it, then.

I was just wondering if there was anything out there specifically on T/S, because it seems the distortions can be so unique - you can't use PTLens or something.
