This is my favourite from a studio shoot that we did at the weekend. I am very new to studio work and would appreciate some feedback.

There should be some fill on the lower half of the guitar, the blacks are clipping and therefore losing signficant detail. Also, your logo in the bottom right draws the eye away from the guitar. Nice exposure on the face.

Some light thrown onto the BG may separate him and the instrument from it. It would give some depth to the image. I like the sunglasses in the shot - nice touch.

Hi Ute,

I think you did pretty good for being new at studio work.

The pose is not bad, the light on the skin is not bad, I can see the man separated from the BG and the full figure is shown.

Not bad.

We all learn by trying.

Good to see you posting here in the People forum too.
