No one is responding? Maybe next time post the pics in the topic... : )

My first thought is that she looks fat in the first one. (The pose is not flattering her in that dress..) The light looks okay.. but it also looks very soft to me..

#2 is better, light is a little too hot on the forehead.. and again looks soft (for me). I would maybe work on #2 some more.. and use this as the keep shot for you.

More people respond if they see a picture, compared to if they see a link. No rules on this, it's just the way things are.

Looks like the WB is a bit off and a little under exposed on my display.

I have a simple question, why is it that most poses by females lately have them grabbing their high heel in the fashion of the first picture? not a complaint just a questions.

First shot looks soft, was the focus on point?

Missed the focus on the first otherwise would have been a nice shot. Might want to do some post work as well in regards to the blotchy skin on her legs.

Second one lighting is a little bit hot. Try to pay attention to your histogram on camera. You have a good looking subject. Try to get a reshoot, and pay more attention to the basics.

And remember the eyes is what connects your portraits to the viewer, meaning focus on the eyes.

Pretty girl.
1 - Watch dress position, doesn't look good like this. Love the heels, maybe turn up the lights a notch. Could use some sharpening.
2 - Nice light, might be a little hot.

OK, so I expended the extra 1.47 calories of energy to click on your links, and here's what I think:

In the first one (and going along with h_2_o's comment), I have to wonder if "grabbing the heel" is the next big thing, replacing "girl on railroad tracks." It just seems awkward, and my own opinion is that you can see the awkwardness in her face. It doesn't look like she's doing it for fun. I do like the moody lighting, and the colors play nicely with her own coloring. Watch your focus -- her face looks soft.

Overall I like your choice of lighting and composition on the second one. That girl has very interesting brown eyes, and her own coloring complements itself. I know that's an odd comment, but it's true so there you go. The only issue here (again) is that her expression tells me she's feeling awkward or shy or something other than comfortable in front of the camera. Maybe that's just me, but it's what I see.
