I use it EVERY weekend to shot wedding and few days per week for outdoor location shot and never have any problem for the last 2 1/2 years.(D2xs/D2x/D3) The cost of one nikon = 4 aftermarket. There is NO single incident that aftermarket battery cause damage to your camera yet. But again, whatever it floats your boat. Nov 02, 2009 at 09:41 PM

Even if it died today (it won't), that's a little over 5 bucks per month I've paid to have the certainty of an OEM battery. Sure, maybe with an aftermarket battery it would have been 2 bucks per month. I'm sticking with OEM.
