A touching illustration of the feeling of sadness and loss, particularly because doves are so often seen in pairs. Even the rose is cold and hard and gives no comfort.
As always, I really appreciate and enjoy your processing, Marcelo.
This brooding image is well captured, and tells the sad story of a lost mate (Doves mate for life).
For those like myself who are passionate about animals, we believe these friends truly feel the sense of loss and sadness on some level.
Beautiful image!

That was exactly the feeling I got when I saw this sculpture in a cemetery of Prague.

Thanks Tim for your comment.
Sometimes I take pictures like this just to prove me I’m still capable to communicate my feeling through a simple (uncomplicated) image.
Excellent Marcelo. Assuming it's a capture of a sculptor's work (I'm never quite sure with your photos ), I'm drawn by what went into the crafting of the dead dove. There's a familiar-ness with the pose that only could have been done by someone who felt the loss pretty deeply. A really moving pic.
