I'd correct the barrel distortion and at least some of the upper and lower exposure difference (vignetting, cropped?).

To my eyes there's something slightly off about the color balance, perhaps a difference between highlight and shadow color balance, although it's small. Here's a version with some barrel correction and some minor tweaks, although I'm not satisfied with the color balance because it picked up some color fringe. As such it's mainly to suggest barrel distortion correction.

Better?

I agree with AuntiPode - it would be interesting to see the same view but from the interior of the church.

There is a certain documentary aspect the way these compositions are made.
Frontal, sharp, colorful and bright. Mainly frontal, flat and flat. I am undecided
if I like it.

Somehow nowadays I look forward to be surprised, even messed with visually.
Usually that entails many elements at play.

I love it.

Maybe fix the distortions, and center the window a little more. Then print it.

Thx, folks.
Just got CS4. Now I need to learn how to correct barrel distortion, and maybe one or two other things
Thx for working on it, Karen. Improved.

Mister Bean, glad you liked it (and more)

Distortion correction is easy:

1) Select All
2) Filter>Distort>Lens Correction
3) Use Remove Distortion slider

I enjoy my 24-105 mm Canon, but it has plenty of barrel distortion at the 24 mm end. The Lens Correction filter is a great blessing.

OK, still not satisfied with the original and corrections, so what about this?

Feel free to post your own variations.

For some reason it reminds me of finger painting.
