I was one of the first in line at Amazon.com to get the Canon 7D but have only recently had time to take it out for a spin. These shots are with the 7D/500 f4 mounted on a BushHawk. Converted from RAW to JPEG in DPP, then slightly adjusted in Paint Shop Pro X2.
Woweee Steve, first time out with that body and you get these results, impressive! Very cool on that Killdeer IF, really a pretty display and good shot by you. Startling detail on the Green Winged Teal, patterning is wonderful Steve. Nutmeg looks strong too, super looking eye and great contact too.
It's all good buddy, nice rig for reach and detail and crop and .....etc
Congrats on the new gear Steve... it's quite obviously in very capable hands.
Very productive "spin"... these are some fine images.
My favorites are the Nutmeg Mannikin, the Hummer, and the IF Killdeer is fantastic and one of the very best I've seen.
Well done.
Reminds me of the first time I shot a Mannikin in OC. Couldn't find it in my bird guide and had convinced myself I'd found a new species. Named it the Speckled Bravolicius.
I was disappointed to learn of it's previous discovery. My quest continues.
Well lil bro... you sure do spin in a special way.. lordy these are fantastic..
GWT is spectacular as id BIF shot... all are your top spot images.. congrats once again on great shooting.
