p.1 #1 · Adobe CS4 Copy/Paste

I shot a picture of a person using a green background. Used the color select for green, selected the inverse, then did a copy of my selection (so now I have the person). I did a paste into another picture I had open in Adobe. The problem is the background kind of bleeds through, like the image is a bit transparent.

Any ideas on how to make my selection and paste not bleed through the background?

Thanks!!!!

Did you paste your image onto a new layer set to "normal"? If so, the likely problem is you have deleted some of the green in the person. If that is happening, try expanding your selection and then reducing it. That will pick up the tiny unselected pieces and not put them back. Just some thoughts, good luck!

You are right. I screwed something up in the selection process. Seems to be ok now. Thanks!
