Hi Fellow FM´s.
Just one simple question:
What happens IF I dial down my exposure on my 20d, lets say, one stop AND dial up my flash 430ex one stop. What does the camera do?
Will it result in
1. A flash dominated exposure (flash compensating for the one stop down dialing on the ambient light) ?
or
2. Does the flash just dial one stop up from the "normal" light level metering in the camera?
Any responds on the subject would be appriciated!
I have not tested it - yet. But I am primarly interested in the "logic" the camera uses.
Kind regards
Jakob

On Canon DSLR's the exposure compensation (EC) and flash exposure compensation (FEC) settings are independent. Dialing in EC affects exposure for ambient light only; it doesn't affect the flash output.
