The intensity is well-captured. Good exposure with the eye in a shadow.
My main critique is that I find the regular pattern of the blinds a little distracting. It reminded me of prison stripes, war paint, etc. I found that I was making a list of similar patterns in my head instead of focusing on the face and the intensity.
