Its primarly an NZ based membership but anyone can join. The good thing about it is that you feel more connected to the places and people the images contain as it is more likely that you have or can experience them (being local)

I only really visit POTN and FM, though I mostly lurk in the people/wedding forums of these sites, and of course my own site which I do post on.
What I like about my own site is the "local" feel it has. We try to arrange meetups/shoots and I've met loads of wonderful friendly people along the way.
