Hm... I don't see anything on the Nikon's website. This could be just another rumor.

I doubt it's a rumor. But that camera looks amazing. 12mp with high ISO = amazingly noise-free images if this pans out. Sheesh!

I didn't see anything about noise free, it said the noise was film grain like which describes my current D3's. Big news is the higher ISO which is helpful for sports, events, nature shooters.

720p huh? I sure hope this is just a fake rumor. It'd be a shame to see the video capabilties be no better than the D300s.

It's no rumor. It's fact. The British Journal of Photography has a short article on it, dated for tomorrow. http://www.bjp-online.com/public/showPage.html?page=870011
