Apparently a football photo of mine (according to a friend) made its way into the USA Today a few weeks ago (this is what makes it hard) but obviously it's too late to have a good shot at finding it.
I'd like to get a clip and proof that it was my photo so I can get my money (lol) because I definitely haven't gotten paid and I definitely don't publish my work for free and I definitely want a clip for hanging it up or putting in a drawer or putting gum into it or something.
Thanks for anyone who helps or gives me any suggestions. I thought of just calling up USA Today but even for them it would probably be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Wouldn't your local library have copies? If it was only a few weeks ago, they probably still have the actual paper, so you won't even need to look through the microfiche.
Yup, your library is the quickest & easiest solution for hard copy - though you may have to plead for them to give it to you. USA today website is the next stop - assuming you know what teams you photographed you could search for the image on their site. Then you'll at least know the reference data.

I would think if you called them and said "I'm looking for a picture of a game between X and Y that appeared in the ThisDate paper" that it would be very easy to find what you were looking for.
