INTRODUCTION
Links (many links with plenty of relevant content on your website) will help you get to page one! Many of us are paying Yahoo or Google and other online directories to be place on the first page. This is very expensive that it will take a lot from your profit. If you work on your SEO overtime, it will lead to paying out less on advertising since your clients will find you on page one from an organic google seach. SEO of your website is an on going work and it takes time to be number ONE.
There are several types of links that can help your website SEO. Each type of link has differing relevance, 2 way (reciprocating links) having the least relevance. For this linking strategy, we will be doing 3 way which is best since we do not link back to each other directly. 3 way linking is noticed by google as one way, so it has better relevance than a 2 way. Furthermore, linking to like websites have higher relevance than linking to none related sites.
What I am after are links that has the best relevance which is what this thread is all about.
I'd like to keep this going and add people on the list on a monthly, if not every other month basis depending on the amount of people wanting to join after the initial FRIDAY start. Let me know what you think about this on going linking strategy for all our benefit.
Requirements:
You must have a website that you can add bunch of links.
Your website must be photography related (wedding, portrait, sports) - better linking relevance.

Boudoir, few artsy naked pics is fine but if your site contains bunch of naked pics then don't join.
Respond to this thread where you live (State or Country) - this will helps me figure out where to group you and avoids a website pimping a next door competition.
REMEMBER: You must include which Group your in and your FM handle if it is different from your real name. If you have not been assigned a group then you're in Group 4.
Make sure your email on your FM profile is up to date. I will indicate if I have updated this thread. If you did not get the email, check your junk mail or email me directly at photographer-links at benipayo dot com (my default FM email).

PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION SO THAT THINGS WILL RUN SMOOTHLY:
1. Email me. Under the subject heading of your email put which group your in - For example, if you're pacdzyne from Portland you will need to write "Group 1"
2. I need you to send me exactly what you want the other group to put on his/her website. Give me one anchor text (keyword) please. Choose wisely since it is very important that you use the right anchor text. Go to
http://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal to find out what is best for you. Feel free to just copy what's below and change the words. For HTML: Change the words between the quotation "****" , between >****< , and the last words.

3. Once I have received the above info from everyone, I will then email you the necessary links to add to your site.
4. Once you have added EVERYONE's links in the GROUP that I send you, email me the link to your link page so that I can email everyone in the other group to verify / check their links.
5. IMPORTANT: I will be the one that will notify each group. DO NOT CONTACT INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANTS / GROUP. People don't like to get bunch of email wanting things. Plese EMAIL ME with any problems and I will handle them. If you're having a
problem, most likely there are others with the same problem.
6. Please, respond to this email as soon as you can. I can't start until I have everyone's info. IF for some reason someone is not responding to their emails from me, I may need to change the grouping jsut a little bit to make it all even (I will let
you know).
7. If you don't know how to add links to your site, let me know.
8. If you want out, let me know and I will delete you from the list and notify the group.
9. Once everything is done - you can check for backlinks in several days to show or you can visit eash site to verify (I will email you the links once the participants are done).
10. If you are computer savvy and would like to help other computer challenge participants - let me know when you answer this email. Tell me what type of website you have - Flashpallete, wordpress blog, blue, etc.
11. I plan this to be an ongoing link exchange 3 way style for all the members here.
12. I hope you don't mind, as a bonus for me (sweating and puffing putting this together), I will add one of my website to all the group except participants in Northern CA (since that's were I am).
How to pick the right anchor text -
Just ask yourself - What does a bride type into the search field when they are looking for YOU.
Wedding Photographer - not a good choice since it takes a lot of SEO work to get to page one.
Your CIty Wedding Photographer - Best since you're not competing with the rest of the world but just the togs in your city. Easier to get to page one with proper SEO work on your blog plus linking.

If you live in a small town, you will probably need to use the next bigger town. For example, Milpitas Wedding Photographer (a small town north of San Jose, CA) has "not enough data" meaning less search query compared to San Francisco Wedding Photographer which seems to be what SF people type in the search field when looking for a photographer.
The "s" make a difference. I believe that there are more searches for words without "S" at the end (for example: photographer vs. photographers).
