Reason,
A turd in the punchbowl ruins the party for everyone. No matter how small the turd or how big the punchbowl. Don't be that guy
Miguel and I are cool, probably having lunch next week or so. You should check again, cause I didn't say anything about him in the thread. There was a good natured feeling in this thread until you posted. But that can apply to most of your posts...

In all honesty, if someone would ever post something like this against me on the web and use my name as an example, I would taken them to court for libel.

It's great you are having lunch with him after publicly humiliating him with no good reason.
It's amazing how you don't see your fault in this. There was nothing good natured about an image you've posted with name of a photographer who "ripped you off".
Sure, it's easier to blame "that guy on the net" who's always throwing "bad" comments than accept the truth and look at yourself.

I've apologized to him privately for this, as it wasn't my intent. Thanks for assuming.
I dont see it as a bad thing on Hoff's part. Honestly I can't wait till I'm good enough for people to want to copy my work. Like the Hoff and others have said in the past, your quality should speak for itself. In every profession there is some "noob" that wants to be like.......
Some people just want to be like the Hoff in the photography industry
You've got to love the mob mentality of people in online forums (and on the internet in general).
First of all, "The Hoff" is David Hasslehoff , so I think it's hypocritical to be pointing fingers at people for using similar logos, poses, spaces, etc...secondly this thread is pathetic.
A bunch of HAKs (Hoff Ass Kissers) forming online mobs, and even threatening to get together to "meet with" people who have wronged him is, in the words of Stephen Colbert, absolutely the "Craziest #$#@ing thing I've Ever Heard". People here have their heads so far up Hoffer's ass, I don't know how they see the viewfinders in their cameras (I guess they can see his).
I would have said no offense to Hoffer because he's not leading the mob, but then saw him accuse people of stealing his poses and spots for wedding pictures. Frankly there hasn't been an original wedding pose/picture in decades, and how is going to sue all the people in the same location years before and after he shot there. Hoffer is a decent photographer, slightly above average, but the fact that he condones crap thread likes this says a lot about his ego.
I know a guy here who had never heard of Hoffer, or even been to his website and he's been accused of copying his logo. I'm with Reason and I would "Bring it!" to court (and I think that may be the case).
