I knew this looked incredibly familiar. I saw it in the paper today! And you are...the photography editor at UCI! I just started my first year here as a grad student
Wow. This lighting is fantastic. Mad respect for your studio skillz. This is a timeless photo, unlike the flickr moms chasing the latest cool trend with some junky props and a baby sitting in the middle of a sparsely furnished room

Yvonne: this is like uber-stylish 1960's vision-of-the-future-but-its-2009-retro-cool - the phone, furniture, bride and lighting just ooze style. A fantastic shot. Excellent use of the spotlight on the shoes, something I never would've though of in a million years on my own. You always have beautiful brides and venues.. you should post more often here, I've always enjoyed your work.

Q this is off the hook yo. Take a trendy shot and put a great spin on it. Nice eye. Love the shot.. and the B&W leaves me to imagine the circles to be a goofy Austin-Powers-Time-Portal kinda red.
@ Richard Levigne- the cones man, definitely the cones. Way cooler (no pun intended) than the flare. A *good* waste of a perfectly good ice cream cone. Wish I'd thought of this when I did my e-session with ice cream eating (in hindsight I think I totally forgot to do a ring shot altogether). I'm so stealing this idea though for 2010
