Really hoping this is the right forum for this topic, but Im looking for some actions for PS that will do conversions for me (BW, etc). Anyone know of some really GOOD ones?

The best thing I've found for B&W conversions is here:
Exposure 2

It's a plug in instead of an action, but it sure works great.

This place is a very good starting point. I had a few things from there. You might wanna check out 'Aly's BW', I remember that being quite a good one for b/w conversion but there's a ton of stuff on there.

If you have Photoshop CS4 there are some pretty good Color > Monochrome conversion tools already built in.

I use this one. Haven't used Silver-EFX so can't compare them. This one has a 30-day trial, so give it a go even if you decide to go for NIK, then at least you'll be able to compare the two.
