Chris H. made me a very nice 17.5" long, 3/8" thick rail for a special project of mine. It's perfect. I could see the 3/4 or 5/8 rails being very nice things indeed.

I did also create 2 different packages. One with 8 inch rail and second in addition to rail also include clamp.

Very nice, I like the plastic tips on the metal set screws. Other stops use plastic screws, which never really appealed to me.

Plastic screw did not lest very long in my case.
This solution works better for me.

I will have micro rails soon. Single micro stage and double micro stage. I hope they are going to be ready before Holidays.

I think Dean makes a good point. Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few Hejnar plates and rails. I really like them, but the last two images and links posted on 17 Nov are straight-up advertising.
