Evan served in the special forces as a Green Beret. He put the hurt on when needed and saved lives as well. If I remember correctly, he also assisted in a birth. Respect.
Also, he's a master of cross-stiching. He's made me many festive wallhangings.
Was a Sergeant in the Air Force for four years then a full time professional photographer for ten years in Miami Fl. then a restaurant/bar manager at Tobacco Road Blues bar in Miami and now in retail management for a very large company in Ohio. Working my way back to portrait photography as time and energy permits for the last two years. Good and very crazy life..Bruce

Mark..1967 to 1971..Texas then Dover Delaware. Stopping point for all casualties east of the Miss. during the Nam War. Lots of c141s and c5a's touching ground round the clock. Took up photography at the base darkroom with my Yashica rangefinder and then 120 roll yashica. Thanks also for serving and those who continue in the future. Seems like one of the only institutions left that makes sense. The GI Bill paid for my 2 yrs. at Miami Photography College. Lots of water under the bridge since then. My Dad just passed at 86 with 68 combat missions in China in WW2. He flew the P51 Mustang at 19 yrs. of age..Thanks for the shout..Bruce

I worked at Pac Sun for one day until I got a phone call from Ritz Camera saying that they hired me. It was actually pretty good money since I got commission for every camera I sold. Sony actually gave the most amount while Canon barely gave any. Hence, I sold the crap out of Sonys even though I knew in my heart they were all about gimmicks. Oh well.
The photos we used to have up in the store definitely inspired me a little bit. I was exposed to Nick Onken's work before I even knew who he was.

Whats up with all the FM engineers. I don't think I even know an engineer.
Sam... you know me. Well, I guess I'm not really an engineer. I'm a landscape architect, but I work at a Civil engineering firm and do mostly engineering work.

I think he studied zen buddhism at a monastery. Or something cool like that.
I am also an attendant for my temple assisting the monks, teaching meditation and buddhist counseling (which is also which I am going to grad school for). In addition, I am a single parent and volunteer to help as her recreation team soccer coach.
I was an airline pilot with Comair based in JFK. My job went down with the economy and have been on furlight since October of 2008. Held various blue-collar jobs to make it through and working in a supermarket so I can provide health insurance for my family. Currently in the running for a job as an air traffic contoller. I picked up the camera soon after my layoff and have enjoye it tremendously. Still hoping for an opportunity to shoot along side somebody and learn learn learn!
