Mark, that's very impressive 3D flying with your night helicopter shot (the first one in particular). Here's a rather different side of the R/C helicopter hobby, a 1/5 scale Lama SA 315B. It's 10 feet long with a 10 foot rotor span, & expensive.
And one of the largest R/C I've shot to date, which was one of it's early test flights which I was invited to attend. This is a 1/4 Scale Vickers FB 5, all scratch built, and he has now completed the scratch built CORRECT radial engine, and I've heard that he is also building an exact scale machine gun for it. This thing has a 12 foot wingspan.
Cool RC shots Cicopo, love the wheels coming off on take off! I mostly shoot RC as well. It's fun to try different things. Here's some shots from a recent trip to Chicago.
To Mark Fadely. They came off as the result of a hard landing in gusts that were a bit unpredictable. He made an emergency landing in the tall grass & weeds with minimal damage. Unfortunately he still hasn't found better wheel retainers & knocks them off regularly.
Jojomon11, I really like that refueling shot, while at the same time I like pretty mush every photo submitted, but that's not something we all get to see.
