I really don't care about issues in RG reports since I believe to my eyes and shots I did myself - mk III is amazingly good on AF.
That's good. And when you say you haven't seen the issue yet, I believe you. But that's not the point. The point was about the polls and attaching any validity to the results. If you had been following all along and seen the samples, you'd know what I mean.
We're not trying to bash your camera. Don't take it personally. The camera really does have some amazing performance. When I bought my second Mark3 I gave away my 40D, knowing I'd never use it again. There's a huge difference in general focus and responsive performance. I love using mine and the files it produces are fantastic. Even just the JPG's.

Some fellow came by the place where I play hand ball the other night and he was carrying a couple of cameras with EOS glass on them. He looked like he might have just been looking for sport to test on. One of the cameras was a 1 series, but the other one was inside a simple black box, which might have been made of wood. The lens was sticking out of the front of it. What was in the box? Why does someone wander round with a camera which has the lens mounted and is on a stand, yet is inside a box? Was he hiding something that was not for public view?...Show more →
