And after the announcement wait two months for product release and then three or four months more to find out from early adopters if it's as bad as the 1D3 was. So you'll have over 5 months to save up plus you'll be sure to get a decent camera (or at least not get a dud)

I'm still glad I decided to wait and not buy the 1D3 when it came out.

Canon almost always announces cameras in late August. How is that a meaningful rumor?
+1 We're supposed to be impressed that someone predicts Canon makes it's new product announcement in mid-late August?! They do that every year. It's hardly prophesy to predict they will do it again.
I'd rather have some new L's than Mark II glass, the likely contenders for upgrades 35L, 135L are damn good already. I'd rather they put the resources into a new long zoom for example ...
I predict that even if Canon releases the three best cameras ever created, along with 2-4 lens updates that everyone wants (135 f/2L IS, 24-70 f/2.8L IS and a 200-400 f/4L IS for instance), there will still be complaining.

I predict that all of the bodies announced will have bigger DIRECT PRINT buttons and possibly 2, instead of just the 1 that has been normal in the past. A reliable source on a Canon website in Zimbabwe told me so.
He also offered to give me $4 mill just for helping him get some other money out of the country. Of course I helped him. He seems trustworthy enough. Now I just have to wait for the goods

Will one of these bigger direct print buttons be usable in portrait mode?
I sold all my stuff about 18 months ago and now am looking to restart. I want the 1DMK3 replacement for my new toy!

While I'm not sure on the placement of the button(s), I'm sure that if you start another thread on here that offers suggestions to Canon, they will surely read it and your ideas will be discussed and implemented by the company.
