Had some great fun with wedding and engagement shots this month, but my favorite shot was from a family photo session at Coronado Beach. As always, more of our favorite work is on the blog.
... I had a client photo I really really liked that I would have posted if we were allowed two... but if it has to be only one...
Hey, who died and made Hoffer queen around here anyway?

Oh yeah... and guess what? She chimps. No really. She points, she shoots, she checks the LCD then pronounces "too dark" ... reframes and shoots again. I'd post the sequence with her doing that, but then who knows what kind of hate I'd get from ... you know who ...
P.S. I would like to present a motion to allow ONE client photo and ONE family photo going forward.
Had a couple I really liked from the wedding I shot a couple weeks ago, but this shot of my four year old was my favorite of the month. For some reason this shot just really cracks me up. He's got that expression like he's sailing toward the future with great determination... .
I'm not allowed to post images up here (very conservative clients) so here's something from a personal project shot this month mid weddings, mad amounts of wedding processing and album making.
Come to think of it, my pic is rather representative of my feelings when looking at the incredible Ed's lighting and wide angle use. I'm on the bottom step, long way to go but there's light at the end of the tunnel (no doubt light on a stick! )
