I want to be able to run a droplet in lightroom on my raw images upon export that will run them through a few other actions in photoshop.
In photoshop I originally created an action started recording then did some levels and curves and then ran a bw action that I use and then sharpened using smart sharpen in all the tutorials online it said to have a save as step in my action so I did that. Now I created my droplet and then put it into the correct folder in lightroom. upon export from lightroom I get this droplet stopped working message and then lightroom just saves my Jpeg. This happens on both raw and jpegs in lightroom. I tried to take out the save as step and still I get the error message. Is this happened because I am trying to run an action withing another action? I am confused and have exhausted about every possible fix I could find through my research.
Any suggestions on how to run my droplet on preferably my raw files or else jpegs if necessary? I would like to run my action within the action because I have the action plus sharpening etc that needs to happen so I figured I could just record it all into one action and be done. but guess not.
Thanks
Doug
Is it possible you exported 16 bit files and the action you are trying to run will only work on 8-bit? Or maybe it stalls due to a layer name being different or other missed item ....
Or it could be any little missing step that is not included in your action(s) try running a file through the droplet directly with out using light room and see if the problem persists.
